Proverbs 31 Women’s Organization
The Proverbs 31 Women’s Organization is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides free mentorship and professional etiquette training classes to underserved middle school and high school female students in the state of Texas. Their mission is to change the lives of young women, one girl at a time.
Junior Austin Woman’s Club
The JAWC is a group of women committed to a vision of sisterhood where personal, professional, intellectual and cultural growth will be supported and encouraged. By empowering our own members we seek to create positive change in our Austin community by serving others. In addition to this, we support preservation and fundraising efforts to keep our platform and home, the Chateau Bellevue thriving.
Built in 1874, Chateau Bellevue is romantic and elegant, with French Romanesque arches, beautiful courtyard grounds, a spacious ballroom, ornate hand carved woodwork and stunning stained glass windows. The Chateau is home to the historic Austin Woman’s Club and has had a long history in supporting/hosting events for several women’s organizations in Austin.
