Taylor Ellison is an Born and raised Austin lifestyle host, producer, and entertainment reporter. She is currently the co-host of CBS Austin's "We Are Austin," and creator and host of "Austin After Hours". After graduating from the University of Texas, Taylor moved to Washington, D.C. to join Teach for America and taught 8th grade at KIPP WILL Academy.
She returned to Austin to attend the LBJ School of Public Affairs and worked as an entertainment reporter covering culture, events, and lifestyle across the city for the CW Affiliate. Happily back in her hometown, Taylor spends her days helping others enjoy a city that has brought her so much joy through the years. While not at the studio, Taylor spends her time listening to live music and enjoying the eclectic Austin restaurants and bars. You can catch her live every week day morning on CBS Austin, Friday nights after the Late Late Show with James Corden, and Sunday evenings. Dr. Courtney Robinson

Dr. Robinson is the Founder of the Excellence and Advancement Foundation a non-profit organization that is dedicated to transforming how communities combat the school to prison pipeline and mass incarceration. She is also Founder/CEO of the consulting firm Institute for Excellence and Advancement an organization that assists schools, justice systems and community organizations with critical, transformative and restorative solutions to culture, race, school discipline and incarceration.
Dr. Robinson has previously presented at SXSWedu in 2017 and 2018 and has appeared on seasons 3 and 4 of blackademics tv on PBS. She has RECEIVED many awards including: the Texas Equity Award in Juvenile Justice by The Center for the Elimination of Disproportionality and Disparities in 2015. Dr. Robinson received her B.F.A. from Howard University, and both her M.Ed. and Ph.D. degrees in Education from the University of Texas at Austin.

Sandy Alcalá

Sandy Alcalá is a native Austinite! She grew up in a family owned printing company located here in Austin and it’s approaching its 50th business anniversary. Sandy enjoys working with fellow JAWC member and business partner, Cathy Northcutt on nonprofit, social, and corporate events. Before they opened EPIC Event Design, Sandy was a Co-Founder and the founding Executive Director of Con Mi MADRE and Past President of The Junior League of Austin (JLA).
She has had a long-time commitment volunteering and supporting organizations which focus on children and education. In addition to JAWC and JLA, Sandy is also a member of the Women’s Symphony League, Texas Exes, Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas, Leadership Austin and International Live Events Association. Sandy has recently joined the honorees for Women of Distinction Austin for the central texas Girl scouts.

Burgundy has a Bachelors of Arts in Music Industries from the University of the Incarnate Word and a Design/Trend Forecasting Degree from The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) Los Angeles. after attaining her fashion degree, she was discovered by MySpace, and launched her show THE B-SPOT Fashion & Trends. During this time, online media was in its infancy. She and her colleagues contributed to the invention and molding of the online fashion media industry.
Many of the concepts and tools that were launched through these platforms are still used to this day as industry standards for online fashion media. Later, Burgundy used her extensive knowledge to independently Launch the Style Lush TV online fashion network. Now, with over eight professional years in online fashion media and trend forecasting, she continues to pioneer, and develop her industry. SHE IS CURRENTLY AN INDUSTRY LEADER, THE SENIOR DIGITAL FASHION EDITOR FOR STYLE LUSH TV AND THE PRESIDENT FOR THE TEXAS FASHION INDUSTRY INITIATIVE.

Keisha Gillis, Founder

Keisha Gillis recently accepted a position with the Office of Police Oversight as a Community Engagement Specialist. Her role is to inform the public, educate the community and engage community members and partners. Prior to OPO she worked in the financial industry for the past 5 years and is passionate about helping her community, friends and family financially thrive. When she’s not talking money, she’s out collaborating with members of her women’s group Ladies in Alignment.
Together her group provides opportunities for women to connect socially, through volunteer opportunities and via personal/career development workshops. Keisha serves on the board of Youth Rise Texas, a nonprofit that works with teens who have a parent who has been incarcerated or deported. She’s also on the BossBabes ATX committee assisting with community outreach and an active member of the League of Women Voters Austin Area. Keisha holds a Bachelor of Science, Marketing from the University of Tennessee.

Chateau Bellevue
Built in 1874, Chateau Bellevue is romantic and elegant, with French Romanesque arches, beautiful courtyard grounds, a spacious ballroom, ornate hand carved woodwork and stunning stained glass windows. The Chateau is home to the historic Austin Woman’s Club and has had a long history in supporting/hosting events for several women’s organizations in Austin.
