Sorry guys, jawc.org was hard for me to update. I only have time to do my other series now. I want to thank everyone for the support, and sorry for just ignoring this project. It was fun while it lasted. Maybe I'll get back on it someday. Until then, I'm totally having fun with my Free Healthcare TV project.
Heh, sorry about the cop out. I've got 1 day off of 12 days of work, plus all the commuting has forced me to continually sacrifice time for one of a bunch of different things. I usually have a choice between cleaning house (I choose regular maintenance), spending time with friends, spending time with gf, reading my books, exercising (I've been doing a lot of this lately), personal projects I do for others, drawing this comic, and personal entertainment (movies etc). Now out of those options, I have roughly 2 hours a day for them if I get 8 hours of sleep on a work day (usually 5 days a week). 2 hours may seem like a lot of time, but 30 min - 1 hour of it is usually spent on things like personal hygene and preparing for work. So now with my hour, I can choose out of those things to do. I usually clean up after myself so we can estimate I spend like 10 - 15 min combined for that. 45 min now. But I have to eat! So maybe another 15 min? 30 min now. I hope you guys can understand what kind of situation this is. :/ And don't give me "with 30 min a day you could easily pop out comics!!" some of my comics require 18+ hours of my time to complete, and it would also mean that I would literally have 0 hours of luxury time, and 100% time to working. No gf, no friends, no reading, no watching anything, no browsing the web, no chating (I've already ruled that out) no UE (already ruled out), no exercising, all working. :(

So for those of you sending me reminder emails about updates or complaints about comics not coming up, please understand that much.
Hey guys, I was soo busy. I was working on the comic whn out of nowhere I started formulating an idea for a game. The more I thought about th game the more I had rather work on it than what I was drawing. So 2 days ago I decided to make a card game for my submission this. Wow, I cut it so close but I got it all done rules and everything. Some of it's a but rushed, but I plan on working on it next week too!

I bring you "Instant Shock", a trading card game with a cyber punk setting and theme. Here are the rules (I'll makea page for this later).

Object of the game: Have more points than the opposing player.

The game works in "tiers". A tier is 7 cards (one sheet). If you have one card from a tier, you must include all of the others from that tier. This makes it simple and keeps things balanced. You have the option of playing multiple tier games (when I have more tiers up). Each tier is represented by the background image in each picture. In this case it's a picture of the "cabling level" of this city.
Jimmy: "Hey want to play a 3 tier game?"
Jan: "Sure, lt me just pick out which ones"

You choose the order the cards will show up in. You edit your deck only before the game starts, once it starts you have to go with the flow.

The card with the higher number wins. It's just like war, so it's real easy to learn.

Defensive cards get a +5 bonus against Attack cards
Attack cards get a +5 bonus against Speed cards
Speed cards get a +5 bonus against Defense cards

You can tell if it's defensive, attack, or speed by looking at the lower left symbol.
e.g.:
defense: Cyber Punk
attack: Toxic Mob
speed: Circuit Flies

You get a point when your card is higher. Both cards leave the playing field after battle. The losing card goes into a pile that keps track of the player's wins, and the winning card goes into a discard pile.

Game ends when both players run out of cards.

Sometimes cards have special abilities.
e.g.: Cyber Punk gets +5 against any mech type card.

I will support you 100% if you make this into an online game. If you want the high res version, just email me for it, it prints better.

Thanks! Have fun!
Ok, this is a cop out filler comic again.

Ok, here's the good news though, all this copping out and fillering and not submitting and losing viewers has allowed me to move out, settle in, and totally re-organise my life. I now live in a great apartment with a little chinese chef.

Next week will be the start of what will hopefully be a long line of quality comics. :D

I've already got next week's comic half done (I wanted it for this week, but I had to go to a traditional party I attend yearly and didn't end up finishing it.)

BACK ON TRACK MOFOS.
This is not shiroi posting, it is actually one of his friends. He is in the process of moving so he is really busy and found that there was little time for doing this simple task. I being the responsible friend decided to help him in this task by posting this for him. Either that or he doesn't have an internet connection yet.

Argh, I made a huge post, but my session timed out on my admin controls! So a small post will have to do until I feel like reposting any of all of that crap. You'll have to deal with a description of my post.

I basically covered a party on the weekend, and talked about why I chose this comic. What parts of it were fun to draw. How I felt about how it came out. Talked about how cool Ryan North is, linking to his site. etc, etc.

Whatever, go with the flow.
This piece was inspired by something I saw on Ebaum's World a while back. And it is thusly in the catagory IBE (Inspired By Ebaum's). I think the most enjoyable thing about drawing this comic was the homeless dude, err, I mean Peter Pan. Mostly because it's outside my comfort zone to draw normal innocent people doing normal innocent things. I wanted to detail him to perfection, but it would have made the Kid and his mother look like a load of crap (more so than they already do). :(

I also tried something new with the speech bubbles. You'll notice I've chosen to use the most overused (but very nice looking) font for comics. I kind of stole both ideas from Boffo, who probably ripped it off of somewhere else. So far I've stolen his layout, and now his speech bubbles and font. Next thing you know I might steal his not often used characters *coughhotpocketcough* and style and put them in weird situations (it's totally an option I've already jotted down as an idea).

My comic is officially a week old now. This being my second actual submission, I can only guarantee more. As the week went by, I probably came up with enough ideas to last me a year. At that rate I'll come up with enough ideas for many years after just one.

I love the freedom that this comic allows me, it truly grasps the idea of just sort of going with the flow. The only problem I seem to be having is choosing which idea I like most and whether or not a week will allow me to draw the sucker. If a week is not enough, I'll give filler. But don't fret, my filler is SSAG, so it's still good. The SSAG's take me only a few hours, while comic's that don't allow me time in one week take over 12 hours.

Expect more in the IBE catagory.

Hopefully this week bring's Av to allowing me ftp access so I can make the "FAQ" and "About" page. I also have a "List" page in mind because the archive thing only reaches a month.

I now have ftp access. I'll update the appropriate pages when I get a chance. Also, Av added a feature in the "comic archive" section, where you can view comics based on catagory.

wow, long post again. I always have more to say than I realise.
This is my first real update. Any time I do a strip using my "Finger Puppetz (with a "z"), I'll base it off of real events...loosely. I like making the faces look retarded enough that if you take them out of context, you're sure that they wouldn't be able say much more than "blehw fweer akakagagitooooo..."

I figured the text is too small, but I don't care. Strain your eyes.

I still can't access certain things on my page ("about" and "faq") until Av gets me ftp access. And the "first" button doesn't seem to work. But I'm more thankful to Av because he's generously given me hosting and programming for the comic.

And for those of you shocked by the cuss word in there, I copy/pasted it. Not sure if that counts against my promise or not, but since I make the rules for it, I say "no, no it doesn't." I'm sure more than a pimp slap's worth of you don't even care.

Haaha, I just found another webcomic that exists with the exact name "Just Another Web Comic" it even says "Tiki Man presents...Just Another Web Comic." I guess that means I should change my name? I mean he totally had it first, and it would be fair... Buuuuuttt...I do like it... I should've totally checked that before making it. He's on friggin' 172 as of writing this, so he's been kicking around for a while. He even calls it "JAWC".

His address is http://jawc.xepher.net

Who thinks I should stick with it, or just change the name and have the acronym?

If I was to change, what do you guys think of the following?
Just About Web Comics
Josh Awesome Web Comics
Jello Adhesive Web Comics
John Arbour Web Comics
Junky Anonymouse Web Comics
Jizz All White Chicks
Junk Arson Whore Canister
Jerplex Agnothon Wam Claparto

for some reason it didn't update at midnight. :/ I put it at 2007-06-12 00:00, I wonder what I did wrong.

This type of comic is a parody series I call "(c)opywrong!" which isn't very clever, but then again niether is the idea of parodying. I'm sure that everything in this catagory will either be a hit with the ladies, or live with the homeless hooker midgets of the great bedlam beyond. In this particular parody I am making a reference to all those terrible fanfic comics involving two characters that have no indication of either being homosexual or taking that extra giant leap and loving eachother madly. And to be honest, I cannot take credit for all the art in this one as I stole frames 1,2,3, and 5 from Naruto's first issue and only editted. Frame 4 though is all me. :#

In case you don't already know, I'm just going to post whatever sort of comic type I'm interested in, that's how this comic will be run.

I can't access the "FAQ" or "About" page yet, so until then you'll have to bare with the mystery of the page you see before you.

I started this little project of mine due to inspiration gathered from the continued efforts of Boffo and his comic.

I update on Tuesdays, but I will throw in a couple of premade comics before I start up, and you will see this journal of mine on all of them. Enjoy!
